Arts and crafts has always been a huge part of my life, even from childhood. But it wasn’t until I learned to bead that I really found my calling. It’s my belief a person’s gift for art is a gift from our great creator, specifically for that person. As the creator makes no two persons or animals alike, I make no two pieces of art alike. Every piece is unique to itself. I chose this piece that I am submitting specifically for this project. I chose the bright colors to symbolize spring / summer. This is a time when we’re coming out of winter and hibernation and the colors of the earth are changing and so do our intentions when we move forward. I also chose the bright colors to help people to remember, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. We’re going through a change in all of our lives right now. The world is like unknown territory for all of us right now and filled with a lot of uncertainty. I want to the people to remember, whatever kind of hardship you are going through at this moment, through the creator and all things good – there will be light.” I titled this piece “#staydreamin’” as a reminder, no matter the hard times, never let go of your dream for a brighter future. .
