My name is Esteban Gonzalez but everyone calls me Steve. I have been incarcerated for 11 years now at New Jersey State Prison. Art has always been an escape for me. Like most people in my situation, I have not led an easy life, but tattooing has always kept me grounded. It’s my passion!! I am able to showcase what I believe to be my talent and share it with others. Throughout the years of my incarceration, I’ve continued to practice my craft and that’s how I spend my time. I have three short years remaining and I look forward to continuing doing what I love once I am home. .
