"Losin it"
"Losin it"
Currently incarcerated in Michigan.
“At first, there are empty tears for the self.
Then, as time goes by, what you treasure begins to disappear.
First, your cat dies, then Grandma.
After that, you realize you can’t do REAL cooking with REAL food the way you used to.
The house payments get behind and the house is gone.
The wife and kids move into an apartment and stop writing.
Finally, there are empty tears for the self.”

✑ Artist's bio
✑ Artist's bio
I think that I was born an artist in a culture that had no reverence for art. But my world gave me art even from an early age. From playdough dinosaurs and rope strand clay pots to model building for the sake of having “cool” toys to play wit on through high school art classes. And always being discouraged from becoming an artist because it didn’t make money and I was only fit for a factory job at best. I finally “became” an artist when I was sent to prison and had to occupy my mind or become dull. Now, I’m somewhat happy to paint art but I still wish there could be a simpler way to create “cool” toys to play with..
